History
Mede's group (The Egyptian folkloric dance group) set up 7 years ago (2002 -2003) in the cities of Sharm El sheikh and Hurghada in Egypt to present lots of styles of Egyptian folkloric dance, after the success in the field of tourism, its biggest hotels and resorts in Sharm EL Sheikh and Hurghada, Mede's group turned to the international festivals and events around the world to present his show in:
-International Festival of Culture in Cairo 2007.
-International Festival of Folklore in Greece 2008.
-International Festival of horses in Slovenia 2009.
-International folk festival in Sharm El shikh Egypt 2009.
The Group consists of 50 individual from males and females, the group with the leader Mr. Ahmed, He is present lots of different styles of Egyptian dancing.
FOLKLORIC
Folkloric (folk) dance is the dance originated from the traditions of the particular country or area. Usually it consists of moves, easy to be learned by big groups of people. Traditionally folkloric dance goes across the generations in surroundings where people dance it. Folklore is the cultural heritage of particular terrain reflecting their traditions, habits, music, costumes and history, Folkloric dance.
Dances of Mede's Group:
1- Saidy show dance.
2- Ghawazee show dance
3- Hag gala show dance.
4- Dabka show dance.
5- Pharaonicshow dance.
6- Oriental Dance
7- Tanoura (Whirling dervish) the best of our show.
Medo Group consists of 50 Male and female, 25 to Dervish (tanoura sufi show), and 25 dancers of Egyptian Folklore
show. Also there are some directors Egyptian seeks to choose from Medo group some of dancers of Egyptian folkloric for paragraphs of the work of within the Video Clips.
Mede's group is a very strong stage personality and is extremely talented as dancers.
Mr. Ahmed the important member in the group started as a folklore dancer in Egypt; from 7 years ago (2002) he started as Tanoura dancer.
During 2007 and 2008 and 2009 he visited Russia, Norway, Netherlands, Korea, Greece, Singapore and Slovenia among many other places to present our show with the group.
On March 2008 a big festival in Russia invited Mr. Ahmed to be a judge in competition of belly dance.
Mr. medo the Owner of Medo Group Love and peace, who is supporting the group in terms of material and technical, because an expert in this field since 20 years,
I am interested to present my performance all of countries around the world, especially there are a lot of people and dance festival like our mix show.
